I know that many of you might be very curious to know them. Many weeks after the contest's end and nothing else happened. And many of you might have wondered: is it gonna stop there? Well, rl has been very busy all of these weeks. But now you will have to wait no more! Here's an interview and a photosession made with both our Mister and our Miss Holanbra and I must say, these are such interesting people!
So, meet Montenegro and Nonna the most popular people in Holanbra right now!
1 - HOW DID YOU START PLAYING SECOND LIFE FIRST TIME?
Montenegro: A friend of mine indicated it to me. In the beggining I found it boring, but after a time it became an addition :)
Nonna: Somebody gave me a tip to have a look in Second Life. I had some time left in those days so I gave it a try. That was in July 2007.
2 - WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE THINGS TO DO IN SL?
Montenegro: Discover new places, meet new people and participate. I love new challenges.
Nonna: Chatting with friends, spending time with Rowdy, "trying" to build something and making pictures.
3 - WHERE DO YOU LIKE TO SHOP TO CREATE YOUR STYLE?
Montenegro: I don't have a certain place to shop, I see something and if I like it I buy it. About creating a style... I don't know if I have a style of my own, I am how I am.
Nonna: At the moment Morea Style is my favourite.
4 - WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE PLACES TO HANG OUT IN SL?
Montenegro: Parties, meetings, events and at home.
Nonna: My most favourite place is our house in Holanbra of course! Then I like to go for a dance at Bogarts.
5 - HOW DID YOU FIND HOLANBRA?
Montenegro: Using SL's seach engine. I fell in love in the first sight.
Nonna: I found it in search.
6 - WOULD YOU RECOMMEND HOLANBRA TO ANY OF YOUR FRIENDS?
Montenegro: I would recommend it to everyone without ecxeptions. Holanbra is a calm, beautiful place with an outstanding service. I would recommend it to anyone.
Nonna: YES! And I already did. Two of my friends lived in Holanbra for a while.
7 - DO YOU HAVE ANY HOBBIES?
Montenegro: Music
Nonna: I love to sing, to take pictures and I practice astrology.
8 - WHERE ARE YOU FROM IN RL?
Montenegro: São Paulo, Brazil
Nonna: I am from the Netherlands
9 - IS YOUR AVATAR INSPIRED ON YOUR RL LOOKS OR IS IT A REFLEXION OF HOW YOU WOULD LIKE TO LOOK LIKE IN RL?
Montenegro: I'm very happy in my RL it would not make sense to me to be someone else. My avatar here on SL has the same personality as me in RL. Of course, here on SL I can give him some more attributes, but generally speaking, my avatar is me in RL.
Nonna: I wanted to make an avatar who would look a bit like an Indonesian girl. And yes, some say it looks a bit like me in RL:)
10 - HAVE YOU LEARNED ANYTHING THAT YOU CAN USE IN YOUR RL BY PLAYING SL?
Montenegro: Yes. Mutual help, respect by the feelings and friendship among couples.
Nonna: Yes, my English is much better now! I can also speak German and sometimes I try to make my self clear in my poor Italian. I am also glad that I can use my Swiss dialect here which I learned years ago.
11 - HAVE YOU MADE ANY FRIENDS IN SLTHAT YOU WOULD DEFINITELY LET IN YOUR RL?
Montenegro: Yes, loads.
Nonna: Yes, I have. And with some I talk on MSN as well, besides Second Life.
12 - HAVE YOU ALREADY MET SOMEONE FROM SL IN RL?
Montenegro: A few times.
Nonna: Yes, I already met two of my friends in RL.
13 - IF YES, DID IT FEEL THE SAME OR ARE PEOPLE A LOT DIFFERENT IN RL?
Montenegro: 95% of the times it was a completely different person. 5% of the times was really worthwhile. It was really the same person.
Nonna: No, they were very much the same as in SL. We had such fun because we talked a lot in SL before we met in RL.
14 - DO YOU THINK THAT RELATIONSHIPS THAT START IN SL ARE TRUE?
Montenegro: I do. I only relate to those who I believe I can have something else with. Love is a singular word but it only can be used in the plural.
Nonna: Yes, I think its possible but you have to be very carefull also.
15 - ARE YOU ALWAYS YOURSELF IN SL OR DO YOU THINK YOU SOMETIMES PLAY A LITTLE?
Montenegro: I'm always myself and those who don't like it can pass me by. To me, SL is not a game, it's a profitable social network.
Nonna: I am very much myself in SL. I am here for some years now and I could not "act" for so long;)
16 - WHAT THINGS IN SL YOU WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO DO?
Montenegro: To meet in RL, make SL your number one priority.
Nonna: Depends on what you are searching for. I avoid places with unkind people. What I don't like is places with lots of games, like gambling. They just look ugly.
17 - HAVE YOU EVER HAD BAD EXPERIENCES IN SL?
Montenegro: To be honest I have had, yes... many. But all of them have taught me a lesson.
Nonna: Not really, because I am very carefull.
18 - CAN YOU LIVE WITHOUT SL NOW OR ARE YOU AN ADDICTED?
Montenegro: Sometimes I spend a little while without logging in. And I do not miss it.
Nonna: I spend a lot of time in SL but when I am on holiday for example I dont miss it.
19 - WHAT MAKES SL SO INTERESTING IN YOUR OPINION?
Montenegro: Socializing with people.
Nonna: The contact with friends, the ability to create. And to visit places I will probibly never see in RL.
20 - HOW DO YOU THINK YOUR SL WILL LOOK LIKE IN A FEW YEARS?
Montenegro: I don't think about that. We're always evolving and changing our minds. Maybe in a few years I won't miss SL at all.
Nonna: Not sure. It all depends on my RL and the time I have for it.
I might just add that this was a very fun contest for us. The winners really fought to get there and they've just made it! We at Holanbra team are very happy for the winners and want to wish them the best of luck whatever they may do in their sl or rl. WAY TO GO GUYS!
